Perceptle #98 answers (2026-10-23)

Friday rules are confirmed in the public client. The five targets are a reconstruction for puzzle #98, checked against Friday ranges (moving dots, bounce, full turns, off-beat, a fraction past 1). Not an official printed key.

I treat 2026-10-23 as puzzle #98 because #1 is 18 July 2026. The mode is Friday. Friday rules need both a Friday and a number of at least 14. The stats API snapshot listed 2,036 players, a total average of 50, and a Tempo average of 13.7.

Targets for #98. Check status is per test.

How the misses score

The client uses score = round(100 × exp(−0.5 × (error / σ)²)). On a Friday day, one σ is a score near 61. Friday widens σ but does not change the letter cuts. The #91 Friday in the public stats still averaged 48.8, so the wider band is not a free grade.

Different numbers usually mean a different site. perceptle.org uses ten tests out of 1,000. perceptle.app was on its own #6 the day I checked #97. Which Perceptle is the comparison. Practice the matching skill on Count, Track, Angle, Tempo, or Split.
