Privacy policy

This policy describes perceptle.xyz, an independent fan guide to the daily perception game. The site does not publish an individual author profile. The contact address is [email protected]. It was last changed on 23 October 2026. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the choice banner. Alias URLs /privacy-policy/, /cookie-policy/, and /cookies/ redirect here.

Analytics and ads load by default

This site runs with the default-on model: unless you have already saved a refusal, your first visit requests Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra as the page renders, without waiting for a click. The banner is a notice and a way to withdraw, not a gate. Press Reject and the site records the refusal, sets every consent signal to denied, removes the Google Analytics 4, Clarity and Adsterra scripts from that tab, and skips all three on later page views for 180 days. Press Allow (or ignore the banner) and the default-on services stay on. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner so you can change the advertising choice at any time. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as Reject.

The services described above begin loading before you make an affirmative choice; the default-on behavior and the banner are not evidence that you gave prior consent. This configuration may not meet rules that require prior consent for analytics, session recording or advertising technologies. The site records and honors a refusal for 180 days. Remembering a refusal, and keeping the server secure, are based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in not asking again on every page and in running the site safely.

Third parties the pages load

Google Analytics 4 — measurement ID G-YJC3R9RM1S, loaded from www.googletagmanager.com and reporting to www.google-analytics.com. It counts page views and basic engagement (scroll, outbound click, file download) with IP anonymisation. Google Consent Mode v2 starts with analytics_storage granted and ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied; the default-on choice then grants the three advertising signals, and Reject sets all four back to denied before the gtag.js tag is removed, so GA4 stops sending. GA4 sets the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_YJC3R9RM1S. Event-level data is retained for the period set in the GA4 property. Google acts as a processor; see https://policies.google.com/privacy and the opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout .

Microsoft Clarity — project z1zzw3eqzd. Its loader starts at www.clarity.ms; it also requests scripts.clarity.ms and variable service hosts under clarity.ms (the observed service host can vary by request). It records session replays and heatmaps. Form fields and any element marked private are masked by default. Clarity may set cookies such as _clck and _clsk on this domain and identifiers on Microsoft domains. Retention follows the project settings in Microsoft Clarity. See https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement and https://learn.microsoft.com/clarity/faq .

Adsterra — publisher 3403020, website 6143454, with a Native Banner (unit 31874818) above the footer and a Social Bar (unit 31874819) that can render a floating strip. The loader scripts are requested from bicea.org; the vendor may request additional delivery resources. Adsterra may set cookies on its domains for frequency capping, click measurement and fraud prevention; see https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/ . The ads.txt file declares only the Adsterra seller used here. Adult ads are switched off for this website. Advertising can be disabled with Reject.

YouTube — the video block on this site points at youtube-nocookie.com. It is not loaded with the page: the poster image is local, and the iframe to youtube-nocookie.com for the video “Nombre: PERCEPTLE” (Blykh3MNk0Y) is created only when you press the play button on that block. Once the frame exists, Google may set cookies on its own domains under https://policies.google.com/privacy .

The playable game — pressing Play inserts an iframe to perceptle.com, with microphone and autoplay allowed and a sandbox that includes allow-same-origin but not allow-top-navigation. That site is a separate operator and can use its own storage, including a localStorage key perceptle:player, inside the frame. Our policy does not cover perceptle.com; its own terms apply once the frame exists.

We do not set a first-party tracking cookie of our own. On a first visit with no saved choice, the page writes px_consent as granted and then shows the banner, so the notice and the default-on requests appear together. Reject rewrites the key to denied, sets the consent signals to denied and removes the Google Analytics 4, Clarity and Adsterra scripts from the page, so none of the three requests anything on later page views. The choice record stays on your device and is not sent to our server.

Retention, recipients and transfers

The consent record is stored so we can respect a refusal for 180 days. Trainer scores stay on your device until you clear them. Emails you send to [email protected] are kept long enough to answer and to fix the page, then deleted when the thread is done, unless we need the note as evidence of a correction. Server logs from the host may keep IP addresses for a short period for security. Recipients are the processors named above: Google (Analytics 4 and YouTube), Microsoft (Clarity) and Adsterra. Google and Microsoft may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and their respective adequacy arrangements; Adsterra’s transfers are described in its policy. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a restriction, and you can object to a use based on legitimate interest. Email [email protected] with the subject “privacy”. You can clear px_consent, px_adbar and the px_best_* keys yourself in the browser, and you can delete the _ga and _clck cookies from the site-data panel. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may complain to your supervisory authority. To limit personalized advertising across the industry, use https://adssettings.google.com/ , https://optout.aboutads.info/ or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ .

The site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect a child’s data. A change to this policy is made by editing this page and its date; continued use after that date means you accept the new text. The playable game, the video and the ad creatives are third-party content, and their own policies apply once their frame or script exists.

Do you use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra?

Yes. GA4 (G-YJC3R9RM1S), Clarity (project z1zzw3eqzd) and Adsterra (publisher 3403020, Native Banner and Social Bar, adult ads off) load by default on the first page view. Reject stops all three for 180 days.

How do I withdraw?

Use Cookie settings in the footer and press Reject, or turn on Global Privacy Control. That writes px_consent as denied for 180 days and the loader removes the scripts. To hide only the floating ad bar, press Hide ad bar on it; px_adbar remembers that.

Does the site show adult ads?

No. The Adsterra website for perceptle.xyz has adult ads switched off, and the account serves only the Native Banner and Social Bar formats here.
