Editorial policy

Every guide page on perceptle.xyz is about one search question: how to play, what today’s puzzle is doing, how the score works, or which site you actually have open. We do not pad the site with empty date pages. A puzzle number can appear in the archive without an answer article. An answer article exists only when the method page’s standard is met.

Claims we treat as facts

• A number read from the perceptle.com result line during a replay, with the date of that replay.
• A rule or formula present in the public client, described in our own words.
• A stats API field, with the time the snapshot was saved.
• A statement on another site’s own page, limited to what that page said on the day we opened it.

A reconstruction is not upgraded to a fact by confidence. The page has to say reconstructed. We do not invent an author for perceptle.com, a price, a file size, or a review score. We do not publish a leaderboard. We do not write a percentile. If a field is missing, the sentence is omitted or it says the figure was not confirmed.

Corrections

Mail [email protected] with the URL and the contradicting evidence. For a target, the useful evidence is the puzzle date and the HUD text. We recheck against the game or the client before changing the sentence, then bump the page’s updated date. The same date is what the sitemap lastmod uses. A change log is the updated date plus the note on the page, not a separate blog.

The short gameplay video embedded on some pages is “Nombre: PERCEPTLE” by Lizzbo, uploaded 18 October 2026. We did not produce it. The player loads only after a click, and the caption names the channel. Illustrations of dots, arcs, and dials are drawn for this site and are labeled when they are not a captured frame of a daily puzzle.
