Perceptle today: hints for puzzle #98
These hints match the UTC date 2026-10-23 (puzzle #98, Friday). They describe the rules, not a printed target. The game uses your local date, so compare the header before you trust a line.
I opened 23 October 2026 as Friday puzzle #98. Friday is not a reskin: the client only flips it on when the weekday is Friday and the number is at least 14. Dots drift, the ball can bounce, the angle keeps extra full turns, Tempo sits on the off-beat, and Split can land past the end of a shorter line. I am not printing the five targets here.
Five directions
- Count: the dots move and bounce for a bit over two seconds. Estimate clusters, then add the strays.
- Track: expect at least one wall bounce. Click the landing, not the last place you saw the ball.
- Angle: extra full turns count. 360° is one turn, not zero.
- Tempo: the eight taps sit on the half-beat, not on the beat you just heard. Sound is required.
- Split: the line is shorter, and the fraction can be greater than 1, so the mark can sit past the segment.

What is actually checked
An answer page exists for #98. Read its note before you treat a number as replayed. On 22 October 2026 I replayed #97 Count and Track on perceptle.com. Later targets that say reconstructed are not a second replay.
